“The Real Estate Chica”
Being a Latina from Quito Ecuador who relocated to the United States in 1984, I have a passion for helping Latino Home Ownership. I have been a part of several organizations on different levels of the executive teams. 2000-2005 NAHREP Board of Directors (National Association of Hispanics Real Estate Professionals) Fort Worth Chapter. 2006-2007 NAHREP Board of Directors for Dallas Chapter. Our group helped create resources for Hispanic Consumers as well as helping Hispanic Realtors to be successful in their businesses. I participated to launch the Latino Business group for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce in 2016. We were helping Hispanic business owners promote their businesses successfully as well as helping them with resources to expand their companies. I also have been on the Board of Directors for Arlington Board of Realtors 2 terms in 2006 and 2007. Our director team worked on ways to help our local Realtors be more impactful to the communities that they served with community service, legal updates, education, and the direct connections to leaders in the community. I worked with the mayoral election campaigns for the last 10 years to make sure our leaders are listening to entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs are a big part of my passion for service to the community. As part of my ongoing real estate education I am a graduate of Leadership Arlington, Best Class 2018.
This class helps you build community, most importantly leadership within our City and the history of
Arlington. Being a long time resident of Arlington. I enjoy helping Mission Arlington with the Christmas Room. We volunteer our time for great organizations like this one. This is for our community to help with service
to others. Mission Arlington provides everything for those whom are less fortunate. They give classes
for learning skills, to clothes, to food, and help them obtain their GED. I also was a part of the Library
Advisory Board (2017-2021) for George Hawks Downtown Library. We helped build a state of the art
largest public library in Arlington, TX.
